Sorry, no email this week 😅 busy p-day..
Book 1: Chapter 5: Entry 21: The Dunes
I’m starting to realize how much of my time out here isn’t as new and interesting as it use to be. Its funny how the things that are now normal occurrences use to be so exciting and new. With that being said, theres really not a whole lot thats happened this week, but there were still some of those uncommon and really cool moments that I’ll share. I had two
Book 1: Chapter 5: Entry 20: Knock Knock
I think I understand door to door salesman a little bit more now… I’ll be honest, not a lot happened this week so I’ll just share a few highlights and fun moments that made this week worth remembering! – We have some awesome members in this ward, but particularly a couple we live close by. We stopped by to drop off a pair of pants they offered to fix, but
Book 1: Chapter 5: Entry 19: Yuma!!!!
I love Yuma! I’m so glad to be in a new area, but esspecially an awesome area like the Yuma Valley Ward! Okay, okay, let me back up just a little bit before I get ahead of myself. So, the week started with my last P-Day in the Phoenix Zone. We had a pancake breakfast and played glow in the dark sprout ball as a zone which was totally awesome!
Book 1: Chapter 4: Entry 18: Sick and Tired of Sick and Tired
What a totally sick week its been (pun heavily intended). If you couldn’t tell by the title of this entry, something has been going around for the past week and has made things really interesting. Before I go any further, I’ll give some context for anyone who’s not familiar with some of the mission terms below: • A Regular Exchange: When two companionships switch companions for a day so they
Book 1: Chapter 4: Entry 17: I Love to See the Temple
It truly feels like yesterday that I was writting last weeks email. What a blessing that time seems to be flying by! Despite how quickly the week’s gone by, I’ve still been able to enjoy some pretty cool moments. I finished my tie from p-day before district council on Tuesday morning and I have to say I’m pretty proud of it! I even stiched my initials on the bar as
Book 1: Chapter 4: Entry 16: Same Old, Same Old
Yet another week has come and gone and it seems like things haven’t changed too much from last week. My companion started the week off sick still and we spent all of Tuesday at home. It was a blessing to be able to rest as I wasn’t feeling well either and I enjoyed the opportunity to catch up on some small things I’d wanted to do for a while. Elder
Book 1: Chapter 4: Entry 15: Three Weeks Already?
This transfer has truly flown by! I hadn’t realized its been three weeks already until yesterday afternoon! What a blessing that time has started to fly by. We had our Zone Conference this week and it was pretty great! I got to see some missionaries I haven’t seen in a while, yet again, including my old trainer. There were some really good messages shared and we left with renewed determination!
Book 1: Chapter 4: Entry 14: A New Vision
This week has been pretty wonderful! Between having a new companion (and housemate) and trying some new ways of doing things its been a fun time! Things started out with our first district council of the transfer which was a blast! We had our council and then we hung out afterwards while eating lunch and got to know each other better. It was nice to have fun together making jokes
Book 1: Chapter 4: Entry 13: Same Place, New Person
What a cool week! It’s definitely been a new experience since transfers and I’ve had to figure out a lot of new things which has been a challenge, but it’s still been fun! The beginning of the week was mostly filled with stopping by as many friends and close members as we could so that Elder Smith could say goodbye to them. He took some pictures with most of them
