If you couldn’t tell by the title of this weeks entry, something very special and wonderful happened these past few weeks!
I only have a few things to share, so I’ll start with my favorite of them all. Last Sunday we went to stop by a mother and daughter we’ve been teaching to set up another lesson with them, but when we got there they weren’t home. Not knowing what else to do at the moment, we went to visit some members across the street for a little while and then went out to find something to do. We stopped on the side of the road outside the members house to check our maps when suddenly our friends pulled up next to us on their way home. We talked to them for a bit, set up another lesson, and then the mom asked how she could volenteer with the youth group. We explained that it was a calling for members and then one thing lead to another. Next thing we know she practically put herself on date and we gave her the goal of working towards getting baptized on May 30th! What a beautiful experience being able to see someone choose to work towards making that covenant with God!
Aside from that, there were just a few other things from the past few weeks worth noting!
Last Monday we had interviews with President Law and they went really well as usual. We had fun hanging out with Sister Law between interviews and then getting to share some thoughts with and get council from President Law!
The next day my companion had some doctor’s appointments to go to, so we spent most of the afternoon filling out paperwork and getting x-rays.
Friday night we had our Mini Zone Conference which was actually really awesome! There were some really amazing thoughts shared and I really enjoyed what was said.
Saturday night and Sunday morning the Yuma Stake had their Stake Conference which our friend on date attended. She enjoyed both sessions and we all got to hear some amazing talks!
Overall a pretty cool and simple past two weeks. What a blessing to see the miracles and the good moments in the mundane of life!
Theres not much else to share and I don’t have much time left so, I love you all and I’ll catch ya’ll next week!
Sincerely,
Elder Whitchurch

Funny Moment:
While biking down the street today we waved at a random guy. The odd thing was that he stopped right there on his driveway and saluted us as we passed him. Not sure what was going on there, but okay… 😂
